Lessine’s flash dryers are designed for instant and efficient drying, removing free moisture from products within seconds without altering their properties.
Operating principle
Flash dryers operate by dispersing material into a jet of hot air that rapidly transports it through a drying duct. This process combines a turbulent effect with fast drying, allowing particles to dry within seconds.
Thanks to this high-performance drying system, wet products are instantly transformed into dry powders without further thermal alteration of the product. A loop with a separator can be added to ensure drying by recirculating the still-moist particles.
A industrial paddle mixer is used at the flash dryer inlet to granulate pasty or sludge products before injecting them into the flash dryer.
